Kriti Sanon is riding high on the success of her recently released film Crew. The film has been shattering all records at the box office. Well, amid this a report was coming in that she will be part of the highly anticipated sequel No Entry 2. Reports are suggesting that Kriti has been approached for a pivotal role in the film. However, it seems that these rumours are not true. A close source has revealed that she is not part of the film.
Sources close to the production team have clarified that while discussions have indeed taken place regarding the casting for “No Entry 2,” Kriti Sanon’s name has not been finalized for any role in the sequel. Addressing the rumours, a reliable industry source stated, “Contrary to recent speculations, Kriti Sanon is not a part of ‘No Entry 2.’ Following her success with ‘Crew’, Kriti remains focused on exploring diverse and meatier roles. As of now, she has not signed any new projects.”
Talking about No Entry 2, Boney Kapoor has recently confirmed that his son Arjun Kapoor, actor Varun Dhawan, and singer Diljit Dosanjh will star in the sequel of the blockbuster film, although the female leads have not been confirmed yet. Boney also said that the shooting for the film will start sometime in the later part of this year and will be released in 2025. No Entry, released in 2005, earned Rs 95 crore on a budget of Rs 20 crore, The plot revolved around a man trying to hide his extramarital affair from his suspicious wife, aided by two of his friends, whose married life also gets affected in the ensuing chaos.
No Entry starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu and Celina Jaitly. Boney Kapoor also recently revealed that Anil wanted to be a part of the sequel, but unfortunately, there was “no space”. “Before I could tell my brother Anil about the No Entry sequel and the cast involved, he got angry as the news was already leaked. It was unfortunate that it was leaked. I know he wanted to be a part of the No Entry sequel, but there was no space. I wanted to explain why I did what I did,” Boney told Zoom in an interview.
