'It Was Zayn': Liam Payne's Ex-Fiancee Breaks Silence On Singer's One Direction Backstage Fight

Liam Payne has been in the headlines over the past few years owing to a number of controversies. From the infamous One Direction drama to his remarks on Logan Paul’s podcast, the English singer has once again come under fire following his ex-fiancee, Maya Henry’s explosive revelations. In a TikTok video, 23-year-old Maya Henry revealed which One Direction member threw Payne against the wall during a backstage argument.

Reacting to a video that claimed the culprit was Louis Tomlinson, Maya revealed that it was Zayn Malik instead. “I see this all the time, everywhere, I’ve heard this insufferable story so many times…he told me it was Zayn, so,” she said.

This is the first time that Henry, who was engaged to Payne from 2020 to 2022, broke her silence over the topic since the singer first shared the story on the podcast. Two years back, the Strip That Down singer went on Logan Paul’s podcast and spoke about the backstage argument with a member. However, he refrained from naming the individual. “In the band, we hated each other. Like, come to blows, hate each other, it was close. There was one moment where there was an argument backstage, and one member in particular threw me up a wall,” he said.

Without mentioning who reportedly pushed him, Payne also recalled telling the former bandmate, “If you don’t remove those hands, there’s a high likelihood that you’ll never use them again.”

It was on the same show where he even confessed to having issues with Malik over the years. “There are many reasons I dislike Zayn, and there are many reasons why I’ll always be on his side. If I had had to go through what he went through, through his growth and whatever else. My parents are overly supportive, to the point where it’s annoying at times, and Zayn had a different upbringing in that sense,” Payne said.

Ever since fans have been speculating the name that the singer was originally referring to in the podcast. Now, with his ex-girlfriend’s revelation, it has sent the internet into a frenzy.
