Jr NTR And Janhvi Kapoor's Devara Part 1 Crosses Rs 405 Crore in First Week; Fans React

Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s highly anticipated film Devara Part 1 has created a massive buzz at the box office. The action thriller drama has crossed Rs 405 crore mark in its first week. The film, directed by Koratala Siva, marks Janhvi Kapoor’s debut in the South film industry, and it has received an overwhelming response from fans.

NTR officials shared on their X handle the news, “His hunt is brutal. and the results are historic #Devara Carnage has surpassed +  & Keeps Wreaking Havoc at all Shores.” As soon as the news was shared, fans reacted. One of the fans wrote, “Devara mass Collections.” Many dropped heart and fire emojis in the comment section. The film also features Saif Ali Khan, and Prakash Raj, among others.

Directed by Koratala Siva, the film is set in a post-independence coastal village where the son of a village chief embarks on a mission to fight smuggling. Jr NTR plays dual roles as Devara and Varadha, while Saif portrays Bhaira. It is produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Kosaraji Harikrishna, Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Hari Krishna K.

At the end of the week, Devara’s box office collections stood at Rs 215.6 crore. According to Sacnilk, while the majority of collections came in from the Telugu version (Rs 164.25 crore), others included Kannada (Rs 1.7 crore), Tamil (Rs 4.8 crore), Malayalam (Rs 1.23 crore), and Hindi (Rs 43.75 crore).

Looking ahead, Jr NTR is set to collaborate with director Prashanth Neel on his upcoming project tentatively titled NTR 31. Additionally, he will star in Ayan Mukerji’s much-anticipated film War 2, alongside Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani.

Jahnvi, on the other hand, will also be seen in the romantic drama film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari opposite Varun Dhawan. Backed by Karan Johar, the film is directed by Shashank Khaitan.
