Karisma Kapoor On Her Bond With Shah Rukh Khan, Salman And Aamir: 'We Have All Grown Up Together'
Karisma Kapoor has long been one of Bollywood's favourite leading ladies, and she has had the opportunity to work with all three Khans: Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan.

Karisma Kapoor was a dominant force in the showbiz industry during the ’90s and early 2000s. Over her illustrious career, she has had the opportunity of working with all three Khans—Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan. In a recent interview, Karisma Kapoor reflected on her experiences working with each of them, sharing cherished memories and discussing the distinct qualities that set each Khan apart.

During a chat with Pinkvilla, Karisma said, “We have all grown up together. I think they are all very special and very different from each other. Their working styles are very different and that’s what is unique about them.”

Karisma Kapoor continued, “Salman Khan is amusing and fun, but in the shot, he is very serious. Shah Rukh is very hardworking and a very giving actor. He will sit with you and do your lines, which is such a great quality, and then, of course, Aamir Khan is such a perfectionist. Working with them, I also got to learn a lot. That’s why I like to observe actors, and I observed them and took their best quality.”

Karisma Kapoor achieved one of her biggest career hits with Aamir Khan in the 1996 romantic film Raja Hindustani. She also collaborated extensively with Salman Khan, appearing in multiple films such as Jaagruti and Nishchaiy (both in 1992), Jeet (1996), Judwaa (1997), Biwi No. 1 and Hum Saath-Saath Hain (both in 1999), Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge and Chal Mere Bhai (both in 2000).

Karisma Kapoor, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan also appeared in Andaz Apna Apna (1994). Karisma Kapoor played Raveena, Aamir Khan portrayed Amar Manohar and Salman Khan was Prem Bhopali in the film. Karisma also worked with Shah Rukh Khan in the musical romance film Dil To Pagal Hai (1997).

On the professional front, Karisma Kapoor is currently a judge on India’s Best Dancer Season 4, alongside Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapur. In terms of her career, her most recent appearance was in director Homi Adajania’s comedy film Murder Mubarak. The film features a non-traditional police officer investigating a murder and includes a notable cast with Pankaj Tripathi, Sara Ali Khan, Sanjay Kapoor, Vijay Varma and Dimple Kapadia in key roles.
