Karan Johar on Friday announced its next production Kill release date. He took to his social handle and shared the news that it would be released in theatres on July 5, 2024. Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the film stars Lakshya Lalwani in the lead role. The poster has also been shared. He has wounds on his face and a knife held around his neck. He sports a dangerous and intense look.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Karan Johar wrote, “Blood. Blood. And blood! We are unleashing this beast of a film to you – #Kill in theatres on 5th July 2024 in India.” It is worth mentioning here that the film premiered at the Midnight Madness section of the Toronto International Film Festival last year. Kill was one of ten that was chosen for exhibition at the prestigious film festival. Confirming the news through an Instagram post, the filmmaker revealed the first look of the action film.

The cast of the film also includes Tooth Pari fame, Tanya Maniktala and Raghav Juyal. Nikhil Nagesh Bhat is known for directing Hurdang, which starred Sunny Kaushal, Vijay Varma, and Nushratt Bharuccha. Lakshya Lalwani also announced the news on his Instagram handle. His friends from the industry wished him luck on this achievement. Janhvi Kapoor wrote, “So excited for you,” while Tara Sutaria said, “Congratulations and kill it.”
To note, Karan Johar last directed film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani was also released last year. The film starred Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. The romantic drama was loved by fans.
