Malaika Arora is going through a challenging time following the recent passing of her father, Anil Mehta. The loss has left her and her family in deep mourning, and the actress has been taking time to grieve. Mehta was found outside his residence in Bandra, Mumbai, where it was reported that he had sustained multiple injuries. A post-mortem revealed these injuries as the cause of his death.

In his final moments, he reportedly made calls to his daughters, Malaika and Amrita Arora, before switching off his phone. Malaika’s mother, Joyce Polycarp, hosted a prayer meet in September to honour Anil Mehta’s memory. The gathering saw the presence of close family members and friends, offering their condolences and support.

Close friends like Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor have been pillars of support, frequently visiting Malaika’s Bandra home to offer comfort during this tough time. Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika’s former partner, was also spotted lending his support to her during this tough period. Despite reports of their breakup earlier this year, Arjun has been by Malaika’s side, showing solidarity as she copes with the loss of her father.

Recently, Malaika shared an Instagram Story with a manifestation quote from a Scorpio-themed page, reading, “October will be good to you. Scorpio.” The message resonates as Malaika looks ahead to her 51st birthday on October 23, hoping for brighter days amid her personal loss.
