Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya hard-launched their relationship when they shared pictures from their intimate engagement ceremony in August. The couple surprised their fans with the sudden announcement considering they never spoke about their relationship to the media. After the engagement, the wedding festivities for the couple began. Dhulipala took to her Instagram to share warm images from the celebrations.
Taking to her Instagram, Sobhita Dhulipala shared a series of images as she kickstarted her wedding festivities. She was seen decked in a beautiful orange traditional saree which had gold details and a green border. She paired the saree with a beige blouse, gold jewellery, and green bangles. She looked radiant in all the pictures as she was surrounded by her family. Dhulipala was seen smiling and laughing with her near and dear ones. Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “Godhuma Raayi Pasupu danchatam… And so it begins!”

The wedding festivities in Andhra communities begin with the Pasupu Kottadam ceremony after the engagement. The ceremony is initially carried out in the groom’s family and then the bride’s family. Chaitanya and Dhulipala had announced their engagement in a post on their Instagram. Sharing pictures from their engagement, they wrote, “What could my mother be to yours? What kin is my father to yours anyway? And how did you and I meet ever? But in love our hearts are as red earth and pouring rain: mingled beyond parting. –From Kurunthogai, translated by A K Ramanujan.”
Chaitanya was previously married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu. They parted ways in 2021. They announced their divorce on social media.
The couple has not announced the date of their wedding as of now. However, reports suggest that they might tie the knot next year in Rajasthan.
