Preminchoddu, directed and produced by filmmaker Shirin Sriram, has been captivating fans since its release date. With production recently wrapped up, the movie is all set to grace theatres on June 7. Meanwhile, the makers have surprised the viewers and unveiled the film’s teaser on Thursday. It is currently garnering everyone’s attention.

Preminchoddu promises a compelling narrative revolving around youthful love within a slum-like backdrop. The movie revolves around Lalasa, a teenage girl navigating life in a slum. As a Polytechnic student, Lalasa has minimal exposure to the outside world. However, her journey unfolds as she becomes entangled with two older men, Kamal and Saaras, leading to a series of eye-opening experiences that distinguish between love and infatuation. Meanwhile, at this teaser launch event yesterday, lead actor Anurup Reddy shared his experience working on the film. The actor said, ‘I have done two films earlier; this is my third film. We made the film after many hardships. Our film is coming on June 7. It will be a movie that will connect both parents and children. It is a content-oriented movie which should be appreciated by all. Shirin has done many short films before. He made this movie after three years of hard work. The story is very realistic. The audience should support our film."

Diirector-producer Shirin Sriram said, “We have made this film in five languages." He also added that it is a straight film, so no matter what language it is screened in, everyone will be able to understand it. Later he thanked the team for helping him so much. “Our entire team is very friendly. Our movie is coming on June 7. Everyone should go and watch" he added.

Preminchoddu will be released not only in Telugu but also in five other languages, including Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Sarika plays the crucial character of Lalasa, while Devaa Malishetty and Anurup Reddy play Saaras and Kamal, respectively. It also features Manasa Eddla, Yaswanth Pendyala, and Sonali Garje in supporting roles.
