Director Lakshman Karya’s Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam was released at cinemas on August 23. The film garnered decent fare at the box office. Now, according to reports, the maker has locked its OTT release date. According to the latest report, Aha has bagged the OTT rights to this film for a fancy price. Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam will be available for streaming on Aha starting September 20. There is a decent buzz for this film, which has a hilarious premise.

Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam is also quite special as it was produced by Pushpa director Sukumar’s wife Tabitha. The film featured Indraja, Rao Ramesh, and Ajay in the lead roles and revolved around Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam, a 50-year-old man played by Rao Ramesh who accidentally gets Rs 10 lakhs credited to his account.

The film’s core plot is around what occurs when an unemployed guy receives a large sum of money. Rao Ramesh delivered outstanding humour in his performance, winning the hearts of the viewers. But it received mixed reviews at the box office.

Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam also starred Ankit Koyya and Ramya Pasupuleti in major roles. They were adorable in the film and had wonderful chemistry. Ramya, a well-known influencer, made her debut in this film. Indraja also appeared as Rao Ramesh’s wife in the film.

The film’s director, Lakshman Karya, has created a full-length comedy entertainment with a compelling narrative. The film maintains the audience’s interest with an entertaining storyline.

Lakshman Karya has diligently used all the characters to generate fun in the film. The film is laced with emotional scenes as well as showing the hardships of the aspirants who have had to wait for the results of their government jobs for many years. It ends up with an emotional climax.

The film is produced by Bujji Rayudu Pentyala of the Lokamaatre Cinematics and Mohan Karya of the PBR Cinemas jointly. Kalyan Nayak composed the film’s music, and MN Bal Reddy was in charge of the cinematography.
