Pawan Kalyan Warns 'So-called Secularists' Amid Tirupati Laddu Row: 'If Santana Dharma Is Attacked...'
Pawan Kalyan issued a fierce warning to 'secularists,' vowing to defend Sanatana Dharma amid the Tirupati laddu row. He says he's willing to sacrifice everything for it.

Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan has once again made headlines with his bold statements regarding Sanatana Dharma. Speaking at his Varahi declaration meet in Tirupati, Kalyan issued a stern warning to those who, in his words, are attempting to undermine Sanatana Dharma.

“If anyone tries to wipe out Sanatana Dharma, let me tell you from the feet of Lord Balaji, you will be wiped out,” he stated firmly.

Pawan Kalyan Shows Unapologetic Support for Sanatana Dharma

Pawan Kalyan, who identifies as an “unapologetic Sanatani Hindu,” made it clear that he is prepared to defend his faith with everything he has. Addressing his critics, he said, “I am conveying this to the so-called secularists who ridicule my Sanatana Dharma. Let me tell you, I will safeguard Sanatana Dharma with my life.”

The Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM expressed his willingness to sacrifice his political power and even his life if necessary, stating, “If I have to lose everything, including my life and my political position, I’m ready to let it go. This is the oath I’ve taken as an unapologetic Sanatani Hindu.”

Allegations of Bias Against Sanatana Dharma

Kalyan also criticised what he sees as a bias in the legal system, stating that Sanatana Dharma followers are treated harshly compared to those of other religions. He mentioned the courts’ leniency toward those who, in his view, have attacked Hinduism.

“The courts are protecting the abusers and attackers of Sanatana Dharma,” Kalyan said, stating that similar comments made against other religions would lead to severe punishment.

Tirupati Laddu Row

Kalyan’s remarks come amid a controversy over the alleged adulteration of ghee used in the preparation of Lord Venkateswara’s famous laddu prasadam at Tirupati. The Supreme Court, on September 30, 2024, declared that there is currently no evidence to suggest that animal fat was used in the preparation of the laddus during the previous YSRCP regime.

The court also admonished Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for politicising the issue without proper evidence, advising that “gods should be kept away from politics.” The issue had sparked outrage among Hindu devotees worldwide, with Pawan Kalyan’s statements adding fuel to the fire.
