Celebrations haven’t quite ended for newlyweds Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. The couple hosted a wedding reception for their friends

Celebrations haven’t quite ended for newlyweds Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. While they have a big Bollywood reception planned for December 20, the stars are hosting a smaller event for their friends from the media on Wednesday evening. The low-key event was hosted at a hotel in Juhu.

Take a look at the pictures:

Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Jodhpur’s iconic Umaid Bhawan Palace earlier this month. From dramatic couture to high-profile guests, the couple pulled out all the stops for the three-day ceremony, pictures and videos from which took the internet by storm. They got married in accordance with the Christian and Hindu rituals. For her Hindu wedding, Priyanka wore an all-red, heavily sequinned Sabyasachi lehenga-choli. The white gown for the Christian wedding was famously designed by Ralph Lauren.

The extravagant wedding was followed by a quieter reception in Delhi on December 4, which was also attended by PM Narendra Modi. It was soon revealed that they’d host another reception in Mumbai on December 20. The video invitation for the reception went viral as soon as it surfaced on social media. Set on an off-white paper with gold letters, a red tilak on top added some colour to it. The invite addresses the guest on behalf of Priyanka’s mother, Madhu Chopra. The reception will take place on December 20, at the ballroom of Taj Lands’ End.

After their Delhi reception, the duo was off to Oman for their honeymoon and even shared pictures from their time there. Priyanka went back to work in New York, promoting her movie Isn’t It Romantic, before returning to India for her Mumbai reception.
