Ranbir Kapoor Says Alia Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor’s 'Good Relationship' Takes Effort: 'It's Rare That Everyone...'

Ranbir Kapoor is undoubtedly one of the most successful actors. He enjoys a huge fan following. However, apart from this the actor also grabs headlines because of his personal life. He is married to Alia Bhatt and recently he opened up about the relationship between his mother Neetu Kapoor and his wife. He mentioned that they are very honest with each other and have a good relationship.

Talking to Nikhil Kamath, Ranbir said, “You love your family, and another person who is an outsider is loving your life the way you love your life. Even if it is not real and it is an effort, but it’s an effort. That kind of effort is not easy, and to continue doing it is very rare. It’s very rare that everything falls into place and everyone gets along, so it is always an effort. My mother and Alia share a very good relationship. They are very honest with each other, more honest than I am with my mother. This makes me happy. I am surrounded by women—my mother, my sister, Alia, and now Raha—they are the best women in the world.”

Speaking further he also said praised his wife Alia and mentioned how she stood with him in every situation. “We stayed together during Covid. It was the best time; I should not say it, but I really had a good time with Alia. We were together for the entire lockdown. I don’t think we were frustrated with each other; we were healthy and we were training. That really solidified our relationship. And when my father got sick, she was really there. She was there when I was in America. In the hospital, if I was staying, she was staying with me. She has really done a lot for me,’ Ranbir was quoted saying.

In the same interview, Ranbir said he was ‘labelled a cheater for a very large part of (his) life’ but he doesn’t care for it because it is ‘not entirely true.’ Following this, several social media users dug out his 2011 interview with Stardust in which he admitted he had cheated on Deepika Padukone. The actor was reacting to Deepika’s comment on Koffee With Karan, in which she said hinted Ranbir had cheated on him, confessed that he did cheat. He said he did it out of ‘immaturity and inexperience.’

On the work front, Ranbir is currently busy prepping for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. Recently, actress Akruti Singh took to her Instagram stories and shared a video from the film’s grand Ayodhya set which has been constructed in Mumbai.
