Actor Varun Sood is awaiting the release of his web series Call Me Bae. Helmed by Collin D’Cunha, the series features Ananya Panday in the lead and is all set to stream Amazon Prime Video from September 6.
Varun’s MTV Roadies mentor, host, and friend Rannvijay Singha has given a shout-out to him. Taking to Instagram, Rannvijay posted happy pictures of himself, his brother Harman Singha and Varun. “BIG STEPPER – @varunsood12 Our younger brother has been taking Big steps, your hard work is showing and you are everywhere! Best of Luck for “Call me Bae” – Amazon Prime tonight at 12!” the caption reads.
Well, hold your horses as the celebration doesn’t end here. Recently, Varun announced his next collaboration with actress Pavitra Punia for a jungle-themed reality show Reality Ranis Of The Jungle which will stream on Discovery Channel.
Congratulating Varun, Rannvijay says, “Congratulations on the announcement of “Reality Ranis of the Jungle” on Discovery, coming soon!”
The Action Replayy actor praised Varun for his performance in the web show Namak Namak Nishan. “Well done in “Naam Namak Nishan” already #killinit on Amazon Mini,” the caption reads.
Call Me Bae follows the life of Bella (played by Ananya), as she discovers herself and navigates her work and love life in the city of dreams after she loses all the generational wealth.
The show also features Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, Muskkaan Jaferi, Vir Das, Vihaan Samat, and Gurfateh Pirzada in significant roles.
The show is backed by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra under the banner of Dharmatic Entertainment Pvt Ltd.
Varun has been a part of several reality shows like MTV Roadies, MTV Splitsvilla, Ace of Space and Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. He made his digital debut with the series Ragini MMS: Returns alongside his ex-girlfriend Divya Agarwal.
