Rashmika Mandanna's Heartwarming Birthday Post for Sister Shiman Goes Viral: 'I Miss You Tons'
Rashmika Mandanna wished her little sister Shiman on her birthday with an adorable post.

While Rashmika Mandanna often keeps her fans updated on her personal and professional life, she rarely shares pictures of her younger sister Shiman. Not many are aware that the popular actress has a younger sibling. However, on May 2, fans caught a glimpse of Shiman as Rashmika posted an unseen picture to wish her a happy birthday.

Taking to her Instagram story on the evening of May 2, Rashmika Mandanna shared a heartwarming photo with her sister, expressing her love and birthday wishes. In the picture, Rashmika is seen giving Shiman a kiss on the cheek, creating a picture-perfect moment. She wrote, “Today is my baby sister’s birthday. Happiest birthday my lil baby girl! I love you so much and I miss you tons!!”

In one of her previous interactions, Rashmika revealed how she was a second mother to her younger sister Shiman Mandanna. She also opened up about moving out of the comfort of her house at the age of 20 to pursue her dream of becoming an actor.

During an interview with the Bollywood Bubble, Rashmika talked about missing Shiman and that she feels bad that she doesn’t get to see her growing up. The actress shared, “I’m already feeling a little sad that I don’t get to stay with them or see them growing up. Seeing your parents also grow up is something…like I’ve seen my mum since she was 17-18 and now she’s 40-42…You’ve seen them grow up and I have a little sister who’s like 8-years-old. I’m like I don’t get to see the growing up, I just get to see the grown-up. I miss it a lot, but I’m a person who’s receiving so much love from everyone out there and I feel equally responsible for them. So this is the sacrifice my family has made for the people out there.”

Rashmika further disclosed that when her sister came into this world, she would look after her. From changing her diapers to bathing her, she had done it all. She said, “I’ve grown up in a hostel, so staying away from my parents was never a problem. But constantly staying for so long, and after your sister happened. When she was born, I would feed her, I would change her diapers, I would bathe her, I was her second mumma. To move from that to now not being able to see her grow up, was a little painful.”

Currently, Rashmika is gearing up for her upcoming action film ‘Pushpa: The Rule,’ where she stars alongside Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil in key roles. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Dhananjaya, Jagadeesh Prathap, and more, expected to deliver remarkable performances.

Apart from ‘Pushpa: The Rule,’ Rashmika is set to appear in Rahul Ravindran’s suspense film ‘The Girlfriend,’ featuring Dheekshith Shetty. The thriller is produced by Allu Arvind, Sreenivasa Kumar, and Dheeraj Mogilineni under their joint venture banners.

Additionally, Rashmika is currently in Mumbai filming for the action drama ‘Kubera’ alongside Dhanush, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Jim Sarbh, and Dalip Tahil. The film, directed by Sekhar Kammula and produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, has music by Devi Sri Prasad.

Furthermore, she is anticipated to star opposite Vijay Deverakonda in an upcoming project tentatively titled “VD12,” directed by Gowtam Naidu Tinnanuri.
