Richa Chadha Dedicates Post To Her Newborn Baby Girl: ‘You’ll Always Have Value Lil Girl’

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in July this year. To celebrate Daughters Day, the Heeramandi actress shared a heartwarming post on her Instagram. She posted pictures from her maternity shoot. In her accompanying note, Richa expressed her hope that one day she would share these cherished photos with her daughter when she’s all grown up.

In the pictures, Richa Chadha proudly showcased her baby bump during her ninth month of pregnancy, in a mustard yellow saree. To enhance her look, she adorned her body with “sacred geometry symbols” and let her long hair flow freely. Richa opened her caption with a heartfelt quote from Maya Angelou, writing, “Maya Angelou said, ‘My mother shed her protective love down around me, and without knowing why, people sensed I had value.’”

She continued, “You will always have value, lil girl. These photos were taken in month 9 of my pregnancy by @harshphotography11. The sacred geometry symbols on my body have been painted by @avantika_1988 or @womenpow. The flower of life on my navel and the symbol of the divine feminine on my chest. Little did I know at the time that I would have a daughter.” Further, Richa added, “Woman. Sacred vessel of the universe, clones herself to make another in her image.”

On July 16, Richa shared pictures from her maternity shoot with her husband Ali. In the post, the actress was seen lying down on Ali’s lap while flaunting her bare baby bump. Sharing that she had disabled the comment section of the post because the pictures were the “most private thing” she shared, Richa wrote, “What can a love so pure bring forth into the world, but a beam of light? Thank you for being my partner on this incredible journey, @alifazal9, through this lifetime and many more, through starlights and galaxies… thank you for getting genius @ridburman to shoot us in our natural habitat @gulati.kanika. A while after sharing these pictures, the couple shared a joint statement announcing their baby girl’s arrival. They said, “We are tickled pink with joy to announce the arrival of a healthy baby girl on 16.07.24! Our families are overjoyed, and we thank our well-wishers for their love and blessings!”
