The much-awaited San Diego Comic-Con is set to kick off this month, marking the first in-person event since 2019. Ahead of the convention, SDCC has released the official schedule, featuring major franchises from Marvel Studios and DC Studios as they prepare to return to Hall E. Paramount+ has already announced plans to promote the Star Trek Universe, the animated series Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the SpongeBob SquarePants 25th Anniversary. Other panels include The Penguin, The Lord of the Rings and The Boys.
Just a part of the schedule has been announced, and more names will be unveiled in the coming days. The San Diego Comic-Con will mark its preview night on July 24, followed by the main convention on July 25, 2024. Running until Sunday, July 28, the entire event will take place at the San Diego Convention Centre.

With upcoming films like Deadpool & Wolverine, Captain America: Brave New World, and Thunderbolts in the pipeline, Marvel Studios’ return to Comic-Con can bring major revelations. More is to be heard about the future of the DCU. In the meantime, fans will be able to purchase merchandise from James Gunn’s Superman and Creature Commandos as a part of DC’s expanded presence at SDCC.
A final schedule, including panels for the final day, is yet to be revealed.
