Sanjana Sanghi recently showered her brother, Sumer Sanghi, with a heartfelt birthday wish on social media.

Sanjana Sanghi, who is known for her memorable role in film Dil Bechara, recently took to social media to shower her brother, Sumer Sanghi, with a heartfelt birthday wish. She shared a delightful series of snapshots on her Instagram page capturing their candid and fun-filled moments together from their travel diaries. The carousel begins with a stylish pose of the sibling duo dressed in their best.

Another snapshot captures their infectious smiles as they enjoy a meal at a restaurant. Sanjana also shared a lively selfie of herself and the brother radiating pure sibling bond. Sharing the same picture on her Instagram Stories, Sanjana cheekily wrote, “A rare public display of sibling affection.” Amid other pictures, Sanjana is seen laughing heartily while her brother cuts his birthday cake. Another photograph shows them posing while relishing a barbeque dinner on a chilly winter night.

Sanjana also shared a touching caption along with the photos: “From sharing a room and fighting over ice cream growing up, to taking impulsive flights across 7 seas to hang with each other (long distance siblingship sucks) to being my best friend and guardian angel, since the day I was born – there isn’t anything I know better about myself than you know about me. It’s always great to have a wiser, kinder and more annoying version of yourself around in sibling form to learn from. Endlessly proud of you, everyday. Happy birthday Sumer Sanghi.”

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Sanjana Sanghi was last seen in coming-of-age romantic comedy Woh Bhi Din The. Alongside Sanjana, the film features Rohit Saraf, Adarsh Gourav and Charu Bedi in lead roles. The film was released on March 29 this year. Before Wo Bhi Kya Din The, she appeared in a notable role in Dhak Dhak alongside Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

Sanjana started her acting career as a child artist with Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar in 2011, playing Nargis Fakri’s sister. After appearing in several supporting roles, she had her breakthrough in 2020 with the romantic drama Dil Bechara, directed by Mukesh Chhabra. The film, based on John Green’s 2012 novel The Fault in Our Stars and its subsequent 2014 American film adaptation, features Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjana Sanghi as terminal cancer patients. The film also marked Rajput’s unexpected posthumous appearance, following his death on 14 June 2020.
