On the professional front, Sara Ali Khan is gearing up for an exciting collaboration for the first time with actor Aditya Roy Kapur in the much-anticipated film Metro In Dino. Directed by Anurag Basu, Metro In Dino is a sequel to the 2007 hit Life In A Metro.
Recently, Sara Ali Khan shared a fun photo on Instagram featuring herself, Aditya Roy Kapur and Anurag Basu, which only fueled excitement among the fans. The snapshot, which shows the trio making playful faces and striking goofy expressions, was reportedly taken on a clinic set. Aditya also posted this amusing selfie on his Instagram Stories, alongside another picture with the film’s crew.
In their joint Instagram post, Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Anurag Basu said, “Metro In Dino Madness mein hum Teeno.”
Metro In Dino promises a stellar cast, including Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sensharma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal and others in lead roles. Although initially scheduled for a September release, the film’s premiere was postponed to April and is now set to hit theatres on November 29.
Recently, Anurag Basu said that Metro In Dino will resonate truly with people, reported news agency ANI. He said, “It has been a while since I am working on this one and I am glad to be collaborating with a powerhouse like Bhushan Kumar yet again, who has always been like a pillar to me!”
He added that the “concept is really new and topical, and he was looking forward to working with fantastic artists that carry that contemporary atmosphere.”
