Shah Rukh Khan Reaches Mumbai, Hides Behind Umbrella in 1st Appearance After Release From Hospital | Watch

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was hospitalized at KD Hospital in Ahmedabad on Wednesday due to a heat stroke, as confirmed by the police. SRK was in Ahmedabad for his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) Qualifier 1 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). After a health update by Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani earlier in the day, the actor reportedly was discharged this evening and has flown back to Mumbai.

In a video that was shared by news agency IANS on their X handle, Shah Rukh Khan’s car can be seen arriving at the Ahmedabad airport. Additionally, Ahmedabad Rural SP had also confirmed with ANI that the Dunki actor was discharged and in fact, had left for Mumbai on a chartered plane. Another video that was shared by Viral Bhayani captured the superstar hiding behind an umbrella after coming out of the Mumbai airport.

Since SRK’s fans had been waiting for an update around his health, the superstar’s manager Pooja Dadlani assured them earlier in the day, that the Dunki actor is doing fine.Taking to her X handle, Pooja Dadlani addressed everyone, “To all of Mr Khan’s fans and well wishers – he is doing well. Thank you for your love, prayers and concern .”

For the unversed, SRK’s wife and interior designer Gauri Khan was clicked arriving at KD hospital, shortly after the news of the actor’s hospitalisation emerged on the internet. Actress Juhi Chawla, who is a close friend of SRK and is also the co-owner of KKR, paid a visit to the actor along with her husband Jay Mehta.

Needless to say, the news of SRK’s hospitalisation had left his fans worried. Several users took to their respective X (formerly known as Twitter) handles to express concern for their favourite actor. “OMG, I hope he is fine,” one of the fans wrote. “Get well soon our king,” added another.

Shah Rukh Khan attended KKR’s IPL match at the Narendra Modi stadium on Tuesday night. The superstar was on cloud nine after KKR won the play-offs to qualify for the IPL 2024 finals.

After the big win in the IPL, the actor celebrated by taking a victory lap with his daughter Suhana and youngest son AbRam. During the lap, he struck his signature arms-outstretched pose for thousands of fans at the stadium and also hugged his team players and planted kisses on their cheeks. That apart, SRK, known for his encouraging demeanour, also uplifted the Sunrisers Hyderabad players, chatting with them after the match.
