Splitsvilla X5 has been grabbing headlines after contestant Kashish Kapoor made a shocking claim about the reality show. She hinted that the show is scripted during her Instagram live session. This revelation came after Kashish made the unexpected decision to walk away with Rs 10 lakhs instead of competing in the finale.
As reported by The Times Of India, Splitsvilla X5’s Kashish Kapoor opted to take Rs 10 lakh instead of competing in the final with her partner Digvijay Singh (in the show). This decision led to Digvijay’s automatic eviction. Following this, Kashish went on Instagram live to clarify her decision. During the session, she hinted that Splitsvilla X5 might be scripted, recounting how she had warned Digvijay about an alleged conversation with someone from the production team. According to Kapoor, the person claimed that since Splitsvilla is a “love show,” only a couple deemed to be a genuine “love match” would win.
She also expressed her frustration with the negative comments receiving from fans. She urged viewers to consider the pressure and complexity of the situation before passing judgement.
Contestants Jashwanth Bopanna and Akriti Negi have won the latest season of dating reality show MTV Splitsvilla X5: ExSqueeze Me Please. They defeated Rushali and Harsh, the other couple in the finale. Jashwanth and Akriti proved to be the ideal match for this season as they handled the ups and downs of their journey on the show with flying colours. Despite all the odds, they stood firm, won challenges and made it to the finale.
Akriti reacted to her win by saying, “I cannot even describe my happiness! This journey has been a rollercoaster of emotions. Winning MTV Splitsvilla X5: ExSqueeze Me Please with my partner Jashwanth is very special for me. It was a real challenge to compete against such strong competitors but we got through it all together- winning is more important to us than all the other distractions that came in between and we proved that.”
The finale episode exceeded the viewers’ expectations with the Mischief Makers’ biggest battle yet, which left host Sunny Leone in tears. Uorfi and special guest Munawar made the finalists an offer they couldn’t refuse. The grand finale challenge tested the strength, agility, compatibility and coordination of the two couples.
