Taapsee Pannu Plans To Spend Summer In Denmark With Husband Mathias Boe: ‘We Have Taken Up A House’
Taapsee Pannu was recently asked to shed light on her "Griha Pravesh" in Denmark.

Taapsee Pannu is planning to spend her summer in Denmark with her husband, Mathias Boe. The couple, who got married in an intimate ceremony with close friends and family earlier this year in March, had kept the details private. While she didn’t share any wedding photos, Taapsee has now opened up about her post-wedding plans, including their new home in Denmark.

Taapsee Pannu recently sat down for a conversation with Fever FM wherein she was asked to shed light on her ‘Griha Pravesh’ in Denmark. FYI, Mathias Boe is a badminton player and coach from Denmark. Responding to the question, the actress broke into laughter saying, “Yeah, I’ll do that and give them a big culture shock of sorts. I’ll hit Kalash with a stick like this.”

Further reflecting on her plans to spend more time with her husband, Taapsee Pannu revealed, “We have taken up a house in Denmark. I will also try to spend as much time as possible in the summer.” In the same conversation, the actress noted that her Mathias Boe retired in 2020 and took on the role of men’s doubles coach for the India national badminton team to stay close to her. Now, he would spend time in Denmark after the Olympics.

“So we are going to keep hopping both ways, and both of us cannot stay at one place for long because him being a sports person and me being an actor, we have never spent months and months at the same place,” added Taapsee Pannu.

Taapsee Pannu is indeed a dedicated wife. She is proud of her husband Mathias Boe’s achievements in his life. However, she feels his contribution to Indian badminton has not been recognised enough. Speaking on the same, Taapsee opined, “Just because he isn’t a cricketer or a big businessman, you don’t really feel like knowing. This is the guy who is probably one of the biggest achievers in badminton in the world and right now probably responsible for where our men’s badminton doubles have reached.”

Work-wise, Taapsee Pannu is eagerly awaiting the release of Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba. Set to release on August 9, the sequel to the 2021 hit Haseen Dillruba has generated enough buzz among cinephiles for its impeccable storyline and talented star cast. Besides Taapsee, the film will also see Vikrant Massey, Sunny Kaushal and Jimmy Shergill in the lead roles. The actress’ interesting lineup of projects also includes Khel Khel Mein alongside Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk and Fardeen Khan. It is slated to hit the theatres on August 15.
