The Perfect Couple Trailer: Ishaan Khatter Goes Shirtless in Hollywood Debut Film With Nicole Kidman

Ishaan Khatter is making his Hollywood debut with Netflix series, The Perfect Couple. The trailer was recently released and Ishaan looks smoking hot in the film. The Bollywood actor shares the screen with Nicole Kidman, Dakota Fanning, Eve Hewson, Billy Howle, Jack Reynor, Meghann Fahy, Sam Nivola, Michael Beach, Donna Lynne Champlin, Mia Isaac, with Liev Schreiber and Isabelle Adjani.

The trailer revealed that he is playing a partner of one of the characters in the series. Although much is not known about his role, Ishaan has two scenes. On one scene, he is seen with Bold Type star Meghann Fahy, seemingly hinting that they are paired together. In another, Ishaan is seen taking a shower in a barn-like set up.

The Perfect Couple is a whodunit mystery in which a ‘perfect couple’ and family is being investigated for someone’s death. The official synopsis reads: “Amelia Sacks is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families on Nantucket. Her disapproving future mother-in-law, famous novelist Greer Garrison Winbury, has spared no expense in planning what promises to be the premiere wedding of the season — until a body turns up on the beach. As secrets come to light, the stage is set for a real-life investigation that feels plucked from the pages of one of Greer’s novels. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect."

The Perfect Couple will be a six-episode series. Each episode will last for an hour. The series is based on the book by Elin Hilderbrand. The series is directed by Susanne Bier. Jenna Lamia is doubling up as showrunner and writer.

Ishaan becomes the latest Bollywood star to have forrayed into Hollywood. Previously, Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone explored opportunities in Hollywood. Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra and Ali Fazal often star in Hollywood films.
