Travis Barker's Daughter Alabama On Getting Plastic Surgery: ‘Let’s Stop Assuming’

Alabama Barker has refuted the rumours of undergoing plastic surgery. The daughter of American musician-drummer Travis Barker and his ex-wife Shanna Moakler has been under the radar of naysayers lately who claim that the 18-year-old has gone under the knife. But she has always strongly condemned these speculations, calling herself “naturally beautiful”. On April 23, Alabama Barker decided to answer some burning questions of the internet population on Instagram. Among the many queries, the most common was whether the social media personality had plastic surgery. She denied the claim vehemently.

Alabama Barker shared a now-disappeared mirror selfie on her Instagram Stories during her Talk2Me session on the platform. She donned a printed beige T-shirt, teaming it up with a pair of black denim jeans and a jacket. Alabama looked like she was makeup-free in the click and posed with open blonde hair. Alongside the post, she wrote, “I’ve had no cosmetic work done to my body. Let’s stop assuming, not saying I never would, but just not at this moment have I had anything done.”

Another fan wanted to know how Alabama Barker dealt with the negative remarks. Addressing the question, the celebrity kid admitted that although she sometimes gets “hurt” by the comments, she tries to focus on the people who love her. “It’s not something I can control or use any of my force on. The best thing I can do is just ignore it and realize how blessed and loved I am by many and also keep in mind that they do. Not know me, they can’t judge the real me. I don’t like to engage at all. It will never put me on a higher pedestal lowering to their negativity,” she wrote.

Earlier, Alabama Barker clapped back at a social media critic who alleged that she had some cosmetic procedures done to transform her physical appearance. On April 14, she shared a photo of herself on Instagram wearing a black bikini, layered with a brown jacket and a miniskirt. Commenting on her post, an individual said, “Plastic surgery on everything is sad”. Alabama hit back by saying, “Hey, let’s stop being delusional.”

Alabama Barker’s weight gain due to her thyroid issues has also been the topic of discussion.
