Unni Mukundan’s one of the most awaited movies, Jai Ganesh is all set to hit the theatres soon. The team is currently busy with its promotional activities. To increase the hype of the movie further, the makers unveiled the trailer on March 29. They also revealed the release date, which has now sent Unni Mukundan’s fandom into a frenzy. Jai Ganesh is all set to grace the silver screens on April 11. The trailer looks promising. It shows a graphic designer arising from his state of depression, after he works on a comic book for superheroes. The movie depicts his struggles to overcome the limitations that he faces being wheelchair-bound. The short clip also shows him assisting in an interesting case of robbery.

Touted to be a family entertainer, the makers are releasing the movie as a Vishu festival special, which will be filled with fun and thrilling elements. While the superhero plot has not been shown much in the trailer, fans are already expecting it to be a box-office hit of the year.

Jai Ganesh is helmed and written by Ranjith Sankar. The movie stars Unni Mukundan and RDX-fame Mahima Nambiar. It will also see Ravindra Vijay, Jomol, Hareesh Perady, Ashokan, Nandhu, Benzi Mathews, Srikanth K Vijayan, Ann Saleem and Vinod Rajan in supporting roles. The movie is backed by Unni Mukundan and Ranjith Sankar under Unni Mukundan Films and Dreams N Beyond Production house.

The trailer made its theatrical debut along with the debut of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s survival drama, Aadujeevitham: A Goat’s Life. Apart from this, the makers also hosted an official online trailer release event at Thiruvananthapuram’s Lulu Mall on March 29.
