Hilarious memes flooded the internet as users shared their interpretations of this dramatic moment. While Swizz claims he wasn’t bothered by the memes, the Love in This Club singer, expressed no regrets about his steamy performance with Keys. In a recent interview with The Breakfast Club radio show, Usher addressed the most talked about moment at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and revealed that “there’s no bad blood or negativity between him, Keys and Swizz.”
Taking to show hosts, Charlamagne tha God and Jess Hilarious, the Hollywood singer said, “In no way anything that was done there should have been viewed as bad or in any way perverted or anything like that. It was literally about having fun because of a song that me and Alicia made many years ago and we celebrate it because of the legacy of it. No disrespect to anybody or anything like that. Crazy how people pick, they handle. It’s all about how you present them man. We’ve laughed about it. It’s all love.”
Earlier, despite all the negative chatter around Usher and Alicia Keys intimate moment during Super Bowl’s halftime show, Keys husband Swizz Beatz wrote on Instagram, “Y’all talking about the wrong damn thin. Y’all don’t see that amazing dress covering the entire stadium. Tonight’s performance was nothing but amazing with 2 amazing Giants. Congrats Usher and my love Alicia Keys, that song is a classic. We don’t do negative vibes on this side we make history.”

Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys have been married since 2010, and the two share two sons. On the other hand, Usher recently exchanged vows with his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Goicoechea in Las Vegas, with whom he shares two children.
During the radio show, Usher also spoke about his upcoming series about Black Love in Atlanta. Although the singer refrained some sharing details about the show, he revealed, “There’s many things on the horizon. As I develop these concepts and ideas, I’ll tell you more within the process but I’ll just give you the inspiration, I think that we as artists there’s a price that we all have to pay in entering this industry. A storytelling is something that I’ve always done so what I did is I’ve taken the songs of the Masters that I don’t own and I reframed them until now, something that is a narrative piece that you’ll be able to see. So you already know what the story is and you know what the crescendo of the story is but here’s just another way of you flipping.”
Meanwhile, Usher is gearing up for the Past Present Future tour, which is set to kick off on May 4.
