Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina have been rumoured to be dating since they starred together in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. While the duo have neither confirmed nor denied these speculations, they are often spotted together on holidays and special occasions. Amid these speculations, Vedang was recently asked about his dating life.
Vedang Raina told GQ, “My dating life right now is taking a back seat because I’m focused on my career. I’m clear about my priorities and want to keep these two aspects of my life separate. I’m enjoying where I am, and there’s a lot more I want to achieve. It’s not that dating would necessarily hinder me, but it can become a major part of your life. So I’m choosing to stay mindful of that and concentrate on what’s most important.”
Recently, designer Prabal Gurung an adorable photo of the duo with Janhvi Kapoor. Prabal Gurung took to Instagram to share an unseen glimpse of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding. In the photo shared by the designer, Khushi Kapoor was seated on the floor next to her sister Janhvi Kapoor. Vedang Raina, who sat next to Khushi, kept his hand on her shoulder and she held on to it. Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor looked at them and dramatically gasped.
A few months ago, Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina were spotted leaving Zoya Akhtar’s residence, fueling more speculation about their romantic relationship. Twinning in black ensembles in a video that went viral on social media, the duo looked cute together. He was also in attendance at Khushi’s intimate birthday lunch that also saw her sister Janhvi Kapoor and her boyfriend Shikar Pahariya along with Orry joining them. Previously, Vedang also joined Khushi for Christmas celebrations with close friends.
Earlier this year, Khushi Kapoor addressed her dating rumours with Vedang Raina in an interaction with Karan Johar on his chat show Koffee With Karan. When the filmmaker confronted her saying, “Conjecture goes that you are dating Vedang Raina,” she responded with a witty answer. Khushi told him, “You know that scene in Om Shanti Om where there’s a row of people just saying, ‘Om and I were just good friends’?”
Vedang Raina and Khushi Kapoor recently teamed up for an ad promoting a dating app. In the commercial, Khushi expresses her excitement for not always having to initiate conversations on the app and Vedang joins in. The actress, in the ad, also reflected on various fun first date ideas, including picnics and pilates.
