Watch: Jr NTR Fans Pour 'Blood And Milk' On Actor's 50-foot Cut-out Ahead Of Devara Release

Jr NTR’s Devara: Part 1 is gearing up for a blockbuster release by the end of the month, amidst high anticipation and excitement of the fans. To show their loyalty and devotion to the actor, the fans organised an anointment ceremony ahead of the release.

Fans of the actor from Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, have unveiled a gigantic cutout of their idol, which reportedly stands at a height of 50 feet for the anointment ceremony. The event was a celebration of the actor and his upcoming release, which took place with a unique ritual involving blood and milk.

As per reports, the fans engaged in an anointment ritual called abhishekam, completed with milk and blood. They poured the liquids on the humongous cutout of the actor, which is believed to be a gesture of the fans’ devotion towards the actor. The now-viral video was shared on X (Formerly Twitter) by the account called @Sai_Mohan_999. It shows two fans, standing at the top of the cutout, with no support, cleaning and then pouring the blood on it. While the rest of the fan army cheers on the ground, waving flags of the actor. The cutout spells out the words “Man of the Masses” to refer to Jr NTR.

The actor’s upcoming Devara: Part 1 is being made under the direction of Koratala Siva who is also credited as its writer. The cast includes Jr NTR in the titular role along with names like Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, both in their Telugu cinema debuts. It also stars Shruti Marathe Prakash Raj, Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko. It is being produced by Sudhakar Mikkilineni, Kosaraju Harikrishna and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram under the banners of Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts. The music in the film is handled by Anirudh Ravichander while the cinematography is being done by R Rathnavelu and the editor A Sreekar Prasad. As per the information given, the film is being made under a budget of Rs 200 crore to Rs 300 crore.
