Casually dressed in a grey vest layered over a checkered shirt, he recorded a video of himself. What caught fans’ attention was the background music— Chin Tapak Dam Dam.

This catchphrase from Chhota Bheem, a popular cartoon programme among Indian kids, has captured the attention of online users, evolving into a meme phenomenon and sparking a frenzy. For those unfamiliar, this famous dialogue was used by the villain Takia in the cartoon anytime he tried to use his magical abilities. Now, it has become a viral sensation with creative adaptations of the clip flooding across social media platforms.
Along with the video, Varun Dhawan wrote, “Mast weather (Awesome weather).”

Earlier, Shraddha Kapoor had also shared a video featuring the trendy dialogue. In the clip, the actress, who is currently promoting her upcoming horror comedy Stree 2, was seen striking a pose in a stunning red saree while Chin Tapak Dam Dam played in the background.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Varun is set to appear in the upcoming Indian spy action thriller series, Citadel: Honey Bunny alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The teaser of the series was dropped last week and showcases both the actors in thrilling and high-octane action sequences. Joining them are Sikandar Kher, KK Menon and Shakib Saleem who will be seen in supporting roles. Citadel: Honey Bunny is set to premiere on November 7, 2024, on Prime Video.
This high-intensity series is a spin-off to the American show Citadel with the Russo brothers as executive producers. The original series stars Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas as Citadel agents. Earlier, Priyanka gave a shout-out to Citadel: Honey Bunny on her Instagram Stories. She wrote, “Raj and DK in full form. Varun Dhawan and Samantha are incredible. When you watch this series, look for the connection to Nadia…Breadcrumbs all over Citadel. You just have to find them.”
In addition to Citadel: Honey Bunny, Varun Dhawan will soon appear in the action-drama Baby John, directed by Kalees. In this film, Varun plays the titular role with Keerthy Suresh making her Hindi film debut alongside Jackie Shroff and Wamiqa Gabbi. Baby John is a remake of Atlee’s 2016 Tamil hit Theri.
