A video of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s old interview with Simi Garewal on her popular chat show has gone viral in which the actress spoke about “suddenly” not doing films with SRK.
In the video, Simi asked Aishwarya, “You were working together in five films, weren’t you Ash? Veer Zaara was written for you.” Aishwarya replied, “Yes, at the time there was talk about a couple of films that we’d be working in together. Then suddenly they weren’t happening with no explanations whatsoever. I have no answer to why (they didn’t happen).”

Simi said, “Shah Rukh said recently in an interview that he regretted it and it was due to his having interfered in your personal life, which he shouldn’t have. That is why you’re not teamed together.”
Reportedly, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were supposed to star in Chalte Chalte, Main Hoon Na, Paheli, Veer Zaara and Munnabhai MBBS. The clip of this interaction between Simi and Aishwarya has resurfaced on the microblogging site Reddit. It has gone viral on social media now.
Aishwarya and Shah Rukh were seen together in Karan Johar’s 2016 film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Shah Rukh had a cameo appearance in the film as Aishwarya’s ex-husband who was still in love with her. Their fans were excited to see them reunite on screen and their electrifying chemistry was greatly appreciated by the audience and the critics alike.
