Every now and then, Salman Khan has made news for his personal as well professional life. The actor once had a fallout with Subhash Ghai after he allegedly slapped the filmmaker at a party. However, Salman was quick to realise his mistake and apologised to Subhash ‘the very next day’ of the alleged slap incident.
Salman’s father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, had recalled Salman’s clash Subhash Ghai in an old interview with Zoom. He claimed that he was the one who asked Salman to apologise. “After the fight, the next morning when I was having my tea, he came to me and told me about the incident. I asked him if he realised it was his mistake, and he admitted that he was at fault and blamed alcohol for the fight. I advised him to pick up the call and apologise to Subhash, and he did it,” Salim Khan was quoted as saying by Zoom.
During all his controversies and court cases, Salim Khan has always come to Salman’s rescue. However, he admitted that he “never indulged in false humility”. “I think false humility is worse than conceit. Every time Salman has made a mistake… they criticise… but what do they expect me to say? That he deserves it. Because love is unconditional. I cannot say that Salman you have to be perfect in this thing or Arbaaz you have to do a thing like this then only I will love you. They are my children. I love them and I would defend him, I would protect him but at the same time I don’t approve of some things that he does,” he had said.
Subhash Ghai and Salman Khan have been close friends for several years now. Last year, Subhash had also penned a heartwarming post for Salman on the actor’s birthday. He wrote, “SALMAN KHAN is not only a charismatic film star but is also One of the finest human being I have found in my life. He genuinely cares for his family n friends n society n nation even at his own cost. – i have experienced it n seen it in person. That’s how he carries a spiritual power in his heart n face n looks like a MAN RARE on screen and life both. God bless him all the happiness n health always.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SALMAN.”
