Bollywood has shined the luck of numerous names who are ‘outsiders.’ When the majority choose to live a life of incredible luxury and riches, this one actor decides to lead a life of simplicity, away from the limelight. He is actor Sanjay Mishra, known for his works in several Bollywood blockbusters.

Born on October 6, in Darbhanga, Bihar, the actor is considered a pivotal name in Indian cinema, amassing praises for his realistic portrayals in critically acclaimed projects. If the reports are to be believed, at the age of 9, the actor shifted to Varanasi, due to his father’s work. The place not only introduced him to the world of cinema but also showed him such qualities of a human, which he is still searching for.

In 1991, Sanjay Mishra entered the prestigious National School of Drama, New Delhi and hoped to start a career in films. He debuted in the industry with the film Oh Darling! Yeh Hai India, a Shah Rukh Khan starrer, that released in 1995. He then appeared in many releases, dubbed as classics of the Indian cinema. It includes Dil Se, Bunty Aur Babli, Apna Sapna Money Money, Ankhon Dekhi, Miss Tanakpur Hazir Ho and more.

Despite achieving inspiring success, the actor decided to live out a dream he had been hoping to bring to reality. As per the reports, Sanjay Mishra bought land in the village of Tiskari, which is located in Lonavala, around 140 kilometres from Mumbai. He constructed a farmhouse on the small land, akin to a small hut. The place also has space for vegetable farming, where visitors can stay and experience the culture of farming.

According to more reports, the actor also fulfilled a divine wish of the locals, by constructing a Shiva temple. It is the village’s first-ever Lord Shiva temple. The inauguration of the temple recently took place, on the occasion of Mahashivratri. The beliefs of the locals say that 40 years ago, saints predicted the construction of a Shiva temple.
