The duo's only film together, Main Hoon Na, completed 20 years of its release, last week.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has constantly captured the hearts of viewers. He has a massive fan base, not only in India but across the globe. Actors who have shared screens with him often praise him for his humble demeanour. Recently, Zayed Khan, who has worked alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Main Hoon Na, shared his experience of collaborating with the megastar, which is currently garnering everyone’s attention.

Zayed praised Shah Rukh Khan and shared that the actor allowed him to perform his first scene in the film in his style without any interference and he was amused by his approach.

In a recent interview, Zayed Khan expressed his admiration for Shah Rukh Khan, recalling the moment when Khan arrived and they were all having dinner together. They were just assessing with each other how this would all work out. He mentioned the uneasiness that develops while working with admired individuals.

The first day when he went to the set, everything was quiet. St. Paul’s School was very big and beautiful during the holidays. There was a unit of about 150 people in the school. They had to start with the song and dance sequence of Chale Jaise Hawayein. Everything on the set looked magical.

Zayed also talked about his first scene with Shah Rukh Khan in Main Hoon Na, when he met Boman Irani and how Zayed’s role was intended to push him. Although the scene was scripted differently, Zayed decided to approach it in his style.

When he proceeded to add his touch to the scene, Farah Khan said, “What are you doing?” However, Shah Rukh graciously said, “Let him do whatever he wants. It’s nice.” Zayed observed that Shah Rukh found enjoyment in the manner he depicted the scene.

He also remembers that during the scene, Farah Khan came and told him not to push Shah Rukh too hard. He had some back problems. After the scene was shot, he asked Shah Rukh Khan whether he had pushed him too hard. He gave his typical Shahrukh smile and told him, “You keep doing what you are doing.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Rajkummar Hirani’s Dunki, where he shared the screen with Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.
