Angry Karan Johar Slams Those Who 'Shamed' Him Over His Sexuality: 'Who The F**K Are You?'
Karan Johar mentioned that trolls not only make comments regarding his children but also question his mother for "not raising him well".

In the recent episode of Koffee With Karan, Karan Johar lashed out at trolls shaming him for his sexuality. The filmmaker lost his cool while talking to his guests, Arjun Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur. KJo mentioned that trolls not only make comments regarding his children but also question his mother for “not raising him well”. “I am sexually shamed all the time. They say things about me in the worst,” he said.

“They are talking to me about my sexuality. They are talking to me about me being a single parent. They bring up my kids. That’s when it really fuc*ing gets bad. Then they talk about my mother for not having raised me well enough to take that decision right. I am like, “Who the f**k are you?” the filmmaker added.

Karan further mentioned that his fashion choices are also questioned frequently. He argued that there is no end to this online negativity and therefore, the only option is not to pay attention. And of course, at times when I am in fashion and they say, “you do not have the fu**ing body for it”, “Why are you wearing this?” They body shame you. I am like, at the end of the day, you have to develop that thickest skin because they are the ones who actually you have to feel pity for,” he continued.

During the episode, KJo also strongly reacted to the trolling Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone faced after appearing on the opening episode of Koffee with Karan Season 8. During the episode, Deepika Padukone had said that there was initially no “real commitment” between her and Ranveer Singh and they were in fact “technically allowed” to see other people until Ranveer proposed to her in Maldives. This had left many wondering if the two actors were in a “situationship.”

Addressing the same, Karan Johar said, “I just want to put it out there that episode angered me, and the reaction angered me. I thought it was one of our best episodes. They were outstandingly honest. They were earnest. They spoke so much. They shared so much. They were so gracious. And then you’re f*cking talking about some nonsense. I am like, ‘What do you know about somebody else’s personal life and marriage?’ Tu apne ghar pe dekh na (Look at what’s happening at your own home) is what I wanted to tell them. I wanted to show them my f*cking middle finger! I am like, you know, just shut up.”

What's your reaction?
