Anushka Sharma REACTS After Virat Kohli Breaks Sachin Tendulkar's ODI Records: 'You Are God's Child'

Anushka Sharma penned a heartfelt note for Virat Kohli after he broke Sachin Tendulkar’s ODI record with his 50th century at the 2023 World Cup semi final match. On Wednesday, Kohli smashed a ton during the India vs New Zealand match, setting a new record for the highest number of centuries in ODI cricket. Kohli made 106 runs with the help of 8 fours and a six before he got out. Anushka was in the Wankhede Stadium, cheering for him as he smashed the record. She was seen blowing kisses at him and even getting emotional as he achieved the milestone.

Hours after the match concluded, Anushka took to her Instagram Stories and wrote a note for Kohli. She called him ‘truly God’s child’ and expressed her gratitude towards God for letting her watch Kohli grow. “God is the best scriptwriter! Utterly grateful to him for blessing me with your love, and to watch you grow from strength to strength and achieve all that you have and will, being honest to yourself and to the sport always. You are truly God’s child,” she said.

In a video from the match, Anushka was sporting a big smile while getting emotional as she watched Virat Kohli score the century. The actress, who is rumoured to be pregnant with her second baby, was seen blowing kisses at him as well as he achieved the milestone.
