Ayesha Khan On Being Trolled For Using Munawar Faruqui's Name: 'Fame Ke Liye Main Kisi Aise Insaan...'
Ayesha Khan recently opened up about Munawar Faruqui post her eviction from Bigg Boss 17 house.

Ayesha Khan, who was recently evicted from the Bigg Boss 17 house, recently opened up about the massive trolling she faced for entering the house as a wildcard contestant given her past relationship with ex-Munawar Faruqui. Munawar is also a contestant on the show.

When asked if she used Munawar’s name for fame, she told Pinkvilla that if she had to do it for fame, she wouldn’t use Munawar’s name for it, and she clearly stated that she wanted to take a stand for herself.

“Firstly, I feel, you know, if I had to do it for fame, jab mujhe show pe jaane se pehle bola gya tha, yaa jo bhi hai…agar mai unke’saath jati’ yaa achhe hoke jaati, that would have helped me for fame.”

She further added, “But Yaha mai jab gayi thi, I took a stand for myself, and I was very clear: jaane se pehle ki if I speak about it, mujhe bahut zyada backlash milega, hate milega, trolling milega. So, fame ke liye mai kisi aise insaan ke against baat karke toh definitely naa jaati. It’s clearly because I wanted to take a stand on it.”

Back in December, Ayesha Khan’s entry as a wildcard contestant drastically altered Munawar Faruqui’s behavior and game plan, focusing attention on their relationship.

Salman Khan had previously asked Ayesha what made her come to the Bigg Boss house as a wildcard contestant and what she wanted out of Munawar. She then stated that she wanted a public apology since the entire situation had become so ‘intense’ and it was ‘high time’ for her to speak about it. Salman then loses his cool and questions her, “You wanted an apology for attention?” He added, “You wanted an apology on national television?” He added, “Fights happen between every couple, but they don’t happen like this on national television.”

Ayesha had made some serious allegations against Munawar and claimed that he was ‘double dating’ her. Ayesha claimed that before Bigg Boss 17, Munawar approached her on social media to cast her in a music video, but “the video never happened, and when the second time I met him, he was like, ‘I love you’.”

Ayesha had earlier opened up about how she met Munawar. Ayesha said in an episode, “When we first met at his house, we connected over poetry, and during our entire conversation, he shared his family matters with me. This was our first meeting where he told me about everything related to his parents, the equation with his ex-wife, and he narrated the story of his girlfriend or ex-girlfriend, Nazila.”

Ayesha further added, “In a 3–4 hour conversation, both of us were in tears because we were discussing very sensitive topics. At that point, I could feel where things were heading, and as they were going in that direction, I asked Munawar, ‘Is there anybody in your life who would be affected by knowing this?’ Munawar’s response was ‘no.’ So, in my mind, it was clear that there was no one in his life who would have a problem with me staying there or continuing our relationship.”

The grand finale of Bigg Boss 17 is all set to take place on January 28.
