In the second half, Indian pacers including Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami produced sensational performances as they combined for seven wickets.

Their heroics helped curb the English side at 129, helping India to a 100-run win.

India and Sri Lanka will meet at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on November 2.

Sri Lanka had a poor start to the tournament as they suffered a 102-run defeat to South Africa in their campaign opener.

They went on to lose their next games against Pakistan and Australia before recording consecutive victories against the Netherlands and England.

In their previous game, they took on Afghanistan and ended up losing the match by seven wickets. They will now be itching to get back to winning ways.
