Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan’s wedding festivities have kicked off in Udaipur with full fervour earlier this week. After an intimate ceremony in Mumbai recently, Ira Khan and her long-time Nupur Shikhare tied the knot in Udaipur on Wednesday, January 10. Now, inside photos and videos from their sangeet ceremony have gone viral online.
For the sangeet, Ira could be seen wearing a beautiful red lehenga with gold detailing, and to complete the look, she paired it with a matching velvet cape. Her makeup game was also on point. Meanwhile, groom Nupur looked handsome in a golden blazer over an all-black outfit.

In the viral photos, the couple could be seen happily watching their friends and family perform for them. In another photo, Nupur could be seen performing for Ira as she cheered on for him. Actress Zayn Marie also gave a speech for the happy couple. Another featured Aamir Khan dancing his heart out, joined by Imran Khan.
The couple had arranged for an elaborate set-up for the ceremony. While they were seated under a canopy of white flowers, their stage was created as a white-themed castle with intricate mirrors and lightwork.
Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare first got their marriage registered on January 3. The couple then had a traditional wedding in Udaipur with close family and friends. The wedding festivities took place at the Taj Aravali Resort.
The formalization of their marital status took place with the signing of the marriage registration document at the Taj Lands End in Mumbai’s Bandra area earlier. Aamir Khan, along with his ex-wives Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta, Ira Khan’s brothers Junaid Khan and Azad, Nupur Shikhare’s mother, Pritam Shikhare, and businessman Mukesh Ambani, accompanied by Nita Ambani, attended the ceremony.
