Wishes are pouring in for Neelima Azeem on her birthday. To mark the occasion, his son Ishaan Khatter also shared a heartwarming post for her on Instagram and shared some beautiful photographs with his mother and elder brother Shahid Kapoor. In the caption, the Dhadak actor wished his mother a happy birthday. He also penned down his gratitude for his mom, highlighting the deep influence she has on his life and personality. He wrote, “Happy birthday mom. May the twinkle in your eye grow brighter as you enter a more joyous stage of your life! You are my voice of reason and my beacon of strength. Love you.”
In the photos, actress Ishaan and Shahid’s mother, Neelima Azeem, looked radiant in a grey Salwar suit while the brothers rocked traditional attire.

Apart from Ishaan, Shahid Kapoor also shared an adorable photo with his mother on social media. He shared a childhood photo of himself with his mother Neeliima. In the picture, an infant Shahid is seen staring into the camera while his mother smiles, sitting beside him. Along with the picture, Shahid wrote, “Happy birthday mommy. No one can love like you.”
Neelima Azim, born on 2 December 1958, is a popular actress and dancer, known for critically praised films like Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro (1989), Itihaas (1997), and Sadak (1991). She also featured in numerous TV soaps, including the acclaimed show, Saans in the 90s.
Neelima also portrayed son Shahid Kapoor’s onscreen mother in his debut 2003 film, Ishq Vishk.
On the work front, Shahid Kapoor is preparing for the release of his upcoming romantic comedy with Kriti Sanon, set to release next year. He is also reportedly gearing up for Devaa, also coming next year.
Ishaan, on the other hand, was most recently seen in the war action drama Pippa, starring alongside actress Mrunal Thakur. Looking forward, he has a Hollywood project, The Perfect Couple, with Nicole Kidman lined up.
