Kangana Ranaut, who recently appeared in the film Tejas, has been making frequent visits to temples. Following her visit to the Dwarkadeesh temple on Thursday, Kangana also visited the Somnath temple on Friday. She posted pictures from her visit on her social media accounts and expressed her gratitude in lengthy Hindi captions, thanking the temple authorities.
During her visit to Somnath, the actor also delved into the mythological importance of the place in her caption and shared pictures from the temple premises. As she posted pictures from her Thursday visit to Dwarka, Kangana revealed that her mind had been “restless” for a few days. However, after her trip to the Dwarkadheesh temple, she experienced a certain sense of peace. Along with a video from her boat ride in Dwarka, she penned, “Floating over the submerged ancient city of Dwarika, why is this place so intoxicating.”
Only recently, Kangana utilized social media to urge her followers to watch Tejas in cinemas. She emphasised the cultural significance of communal viewing, which had suffered greatly due to the pandemic. Kangana pointed out the challenges faced by numerous single-screen theaters and appealed to her followers to support these struggling venues by watching her film in theaters. In the same vein, this year, movies such as Pathaan, Jawan, and Gadar 2 have thrived in cinemas, collectively earning over Rs 500 crore in the domestic market.
Kangana made an appearance in the Tamil movie Chandramukhi 2 recently, which performed decently in the Tamil market. However, it failed to attract any Hindi audience, despite that being Kangana’s primary fanbase. The actor hasn’t achieved a theatrical success since her 2019 film Manikarnika – The Queen Of Jhansi. Her subsequent films, including Judgementall Hai Kya, Panga, Thalaivii, and Dhaakad, all faced box office failures.
