Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has cemented a special position in the hearts of many with his powerful acting chops. From playing the character of a romantic loverboy in Hum Tum to turning into a broody cop in Vikram Vedha, the 52-year-old has explored a wide range of versatile on-screen roles. The B-town star, is now happily married to actress Kareena Kapoor, and is a dad to Taimur and Jeh. His wife Kareena Kapoor loves Saif Ali Khan more than anything. Hence, during the latest episode of Koffee With Karan, Kareena’s video message for Saif came across as wholesome.
She shared, “What does Saif mean to me? Saif is my entire being, my entire universe, my whole life revolves around my Saif. My eyes well up every time I talk about him because he is my life. My favourite memory will always be the first time I met Saif. Because he was sitting on top of a makeup vanity van in Ladakh without his t-shirt and I was like ‘who is that guy who is sitting on op of a vanity van?’ and they were like ‘it’s Saif and I looked closer and I was like ‘my god, that’s Saif’. That was the moment I lost my mind and that was it.”
Meanwhile, speaking about her mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore, Kareena added, “I have called her Amma from the time I met Saif because I genuinely feel that connection and love for her because she has been so warm, so caring. I think she looks at me more like a daughter, like Soha and Saba. It’s always been like that. She has always made me feel welcome.”
During the dynamic rapid-fire round on Koffee With Karan 8, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani director asked Saif to reveal how Kareena has influenced him. Taking a moment to ponder, the Vikram Vedha actor responded with admiration, stating, “I think in terms of time management, health, exercise, routine, discipline, patience. Phenomenal things.”
