Rashmika Mandanna’s ‘Milan In a Minute’ Moment Was All About Power Dressing

In 2023, Rashmika Mandanna was announced as India’s first brand advocate for the Japanese fashion brand, Onitsuka Tiger. This year, the brand invited Rashmika to attend the Onitsuka Tiger Fall 2024 Autumn Winter fashion show at Milan Fashion Week on February 21st.

Looking like a dream in an all black ensemble, Rashmika celebrated the Japanese brand’s 75th anniversary looking sharp in a look featuring a long black sleeveless dress with cut out and slight ruching details. She paired the creative dress with a black overcoat. She enhanced the monochrome ensemble with a hint of sparkle with jewellery from Misho and Studio Renn.

Styled by celebrity stylist Priyanka Kapadia and assisted by fashion stylist Naheed Driver, Rashmika’s flawless makeup and hair was done by celebrity makeup artist Tanvi Chemburkar and celebrity hairstylist Priyanka Borkar.

Rashmika gave a quick sneak peek of her ‘Milan for a Minute’ moments, which included her getting ready before the show, acing the runway model inspo look at the venue and posing for the paparazzi ahead of the show. Taking to Instagram, Rashmika thanked her talented team with the caption: “When the girls do their magic on me.”

Fitting her like a glove, the simple yet versatile floor-length dress added an extra edge to Rashmika’s impeccable style quotient. The overcoat jacket completed Rashmika’s boss vibe look.

Representing India on a global fashion platform like Milan Fashion Week, Rashmika definitely stole the show with her sharp, bold look. The highlight of this chic look was the sleek gelled back hairstyle that clearly defined power.

Bold and fierce, Rashmika made a statement in black and carried it off with elan. Last year, the actor, when announced as the brand’s advocate, took to Instagram to share her excitement. Rashmika wrote: “Here’s to new beginnings!! Ecstatic to announce that I am now India’s first brand advocate for the iconic Japanese fashion brand, Onitsuka Tiger!!”

She further added, “Their contemporary collections seamlessly blend fashion and sports while incorporating heritage and innovation. I had the pleasure of attending the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2023 showcase at Milan Fashion Week, where I wore a stunning head-to-toe look from the collection.”

This year, Rashmika attended the show, which featured an array of new styles celebrating the brand’s 75th anniversary.
