Shraddha Kapoor enjoys a massive fan following. She is one of the most loved actresses in Bollywood, and is known for delivering characters that are impactful and memorable. Having said that, one of her most terrific performances came with the 2014 movie Haider. Helmed by Vishal Bhardwaj, Shraddha had earlier shared that the film turned out to be a ‘life changing’ experience for her. Now, 10 years later, buzz is that the actress is collaborating with the filmmaker once again.
Recently, the actress was spotted with Bhardwaj at a shoot location. A source close to their team exclusively shared a sneek peek of the duo from the sets. While further details of the project has been kept under wraps for now, the team assures us they will be revealing something big super soon.
Back in 2014, Shraddha Kapoor starred in Haider with Shahid Kapoor and Tabu. The film turned out to be a massive hit among fans, viewers and critics. Bhardwaj’s film is a Bollywood adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet and the final film from his trilogy that began with Maqbool followed by Omkara.
Earlier in an interview with PTI, Shraddha on working with Vishal shared, “I have first time experienced a different world of cinema which Vishal sir has put me in. I was surprised to see myself. Also audience wants to see you in different roles. I feel lucky and fortunate to be part of this film. It was a life changing experience for me.”
She added, “In my fifth film to share screen space with great actors like Tabu, Irrfan Khan, Kay Kay Menon, Shahid Kapoor is unbelievable. I feel fortunate to get this opportunity. It was phenomenal to work with such actors.. I used to pinch myself every day.”
Vishal Bhardwaj is currently basking in the success of Khufiya which recently released on Netflix. The film stars Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi and Ali Fazal in pivotal roles. Shraddha Kapoor on the other hand was last seen in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar with Ranbir Kapoor. The film turned out to be a commercial success on box office. She will next be seen in Stree 2.
