SOTY Reunion: Varun Dhawan Hugs Sidharth Malhotra, Poses Together For Paps In Viral Video, Watch

Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra are one of the finest actors from Bollywood. Even though the duo started their acting journey together with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year, despite their banter and camaraderie off-camera, the fans are yet to see them starring in the same project. However, Varun and Sidharth crossed paths at the Indian Police Force pre-release event, where they posed for the paparazzi.

The video clip was shared by the popular paparazzo handle Varinder Chawla and it captured Varun Dhawan giving a warm hug to Sidharth Malhotra. The duo then proceeded to pose for the camera, with wide smiles plastered across their faces. While Sidharth looked dashing in a black leather jacket, Varun sported a casual blue t-shirt and printed black shorts. The video soon went viral all over social media.

Prior to this, both Sidharth and Varun got featured in one of the episodes of Koffee With Karan 8. While the duo made their acting debut with Karan Johar in Student of the Year, they embarked on their journey in the film industry by assisting Karan in My Name is Khan. Karan Johar had spilled the beans that Sid and Varun were having ‘steamy affairs’ on the sets of the Shah Rukh Khan film.

This was not the first time that Karan spoke about Varun and Sid on the sets of My Name is Khan. When the duo appeared with Alia Bhatt at the time of Student of the Year’s release, details about their love life on the sets of My Name is Khan were discussed. The episode featured film director and screenwriter Karan Malhotra’s message on the episode in which he revealed, “When we were shooting for My Name Is Khan in LA, there was this girl in the costume department who one day came with a huge box of donuts on the set and when we asked her, ‘For whom are these for?’ She said, ‘Sidharth.’ So, the donuts exchanging had started happening there. Varun had also started looking for a costume himself and he would launch himself on the set and started flirting with the costume assistant here and there. Varun has more of masti in him, he is more of a crazy guy and Sidharth is a serious, sober guy and I think that’s where they are different people.”

Currently, Varun is waiting for the release of his web series, Citadel India. The actor stars with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The series is a spin-off of Priyanka Chopra’s Citadel and is directed by Raj & DK.

On the work front, Sidharth Malhotra will be next seen in Yodha with Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna. He will also be making his OTT debut with Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force which will be streaming on Prime Video.
