Tanishaa Mukerji Thanks Paps For Praying During Mom Tanuja's Hospitalisation: 'Aap Logo Ne Itne...'

Veteran actor Tanuja, who was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of a hospital in Mumbai, was discharged on Monday night, a source said. The 80-year-old actor, known for movies such as “Jewel Thief” and “Haathi Mere Saathi”, was taken to a Juhu hospital on Sunday evening following age-related complications. “She was discharged from the hospital late last night as all her health parameters were normal,” the source told PTI on Tuesday.

Amid all this, Tanisha, who is a contestant on dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. The actress was spotted in Mumbai by the paps, looking charming in athleisure. She opted for a lavender sports bra and matching tracks. As paps asked her how Tanuja is, a grateful Tanishaa said, “Aap log sabne bahut achhe prayers kiye mummy ke liye. Thank you so much.”

Veteran actor Tanuja had earlier opened up on Tanishaa participating in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She had said through a video, “I didn’t know she would like to do something like Jhalak. When she said ‘yes’, I said, ‘How will you do this? Because you have had no training at all’. She said, ‘Nahi main karungi mummy (I’ll do it mummy). I want to try something new.”

Tanishaa added, “Lekin woh jab ghar aati hai na toh mujhe bohut dukh hota hai (I feel sad when she comes back home) because I see her all bruised. Uske pure sharir pe zakham hote hai, ghao hote hai, uske sar mein dard hota hai (There are injuries on her body, she has headaches).” She also added, “Aur jo maine dekhe hai episodes (The episodes that I have watched) I mean for her to do something like this is great. It’s wonderful. I am very very proud of her. Bohut garv hai mujhe uspe (I am proud of her).”
