Urfi Javed made her first public appearance after she faked her police arrest. The actress, who has landed in trouble with Mumbai Police after the publicity stunt, has travelled to Amritsar and was seen praying at the Golden Temple. The Bigg Boss OTT alum took to her Instagram account and shared a few photos from the visit. In the photos, Urfi was seen wearing a beautiful pink outfit and posing in the temple premise.
She also shared a video of a kirthan taking place in the Gurudwara’s premise and a picture of the prasad she got. Sharing the post, Urfi wrote, “Waheguru.” The post received wholesome comments. “You look so lovely here ❤️,” a fan wrote. “Get a girl who can do both,” added another. “So…….beautiful So…….elegant just looking like a wow… just looking like a wow ,” a third comment read.
Last week, paparazzi shared videos of Urfi Javed allegedly getting arrested in Mumbai. Mumbai Police later confirmed that they did not take Urfi into custody. Urfi also clarified that the alleged arrest was a stunt for a brand. “Arrested by the fashion police. Guys this was a campaign for a shoot,” she said. However, the stunt did not go down well with the Mumbai Police.
In a statement issued my the Mumbai Police handle on X (formerly Twitter), they stated, “One Can’t Violate Law Of The Land, For Cheap Publicity ! A viral video of a woman being allegedly arrested by Mumbai Police, in a case of obscenity is not true – insignia and uniform has been misused.”
“However, a criminal case has been registered against those involved in the misleading video, at Oshiwara Pstn under sections 171, 419, 500, 34 IPC. While further investigation is on, the fake inspector is under arrest & the vehicle has been seized too. #RealityCheck,” they added.
