Vishal is currently shooting for an upcoming untitled project and this video is from the sets of that project.

Actor Vishal Nikam embarked on his film career with the Marathi movie Mithun in 2018 starring opposite Amruta Dhongade. He also starred in the TV show Dakkhancha Raja Jyotiba. He became a household name among the Marathi audience for his impeccable acting skills in the show Jai Bhavani Jai Shivaji as Shiva Kashid. He recently dominated the headlines after one of his videos surfaced on social media wearing an unbuttoned shirt and mala beads around his neck. He is walking through a lot of smoke in this video.

Vishal Nikam closely resembles the look of popular actor Allu Arjun from the film Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1. Vishal is currently shooting for an upcoming untitled project and this video is from the sets of that project.

Fans and Vishal’s colleagues from the entertainment industry loved the video. Actress Akshaya Hindalkar, Nityashree Dnyanlaxmi and Vishal’s brother Akshay Nikam applauded the clip.

Vishal had also shared a couple of pictures in the same outfit on April 17. Some of the crew members are sitting in the background wearing the costumes of Maratha soldiers. Vishal has not revealed the name of the upcoming project but it can be reportedly related to the Maratha history.

Some do feel that Vishal shared these pictures from the sets of his upcoming film Vedaat Maratha Veer Daudale Saat. Mahesh Manjrekar is directing this movie and has roped in Parag Kulkarni as the writer. Vishal will essay the role of Maratha warrior Chandraji Kothar in this film backed by Qureshi Productions and Mahesh Manrekar Movies. This film will be released at cinemas in Marathi, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The cast of this film includes Akshay Kumar, Pravin Tarde, Satya Manjrekar, Hardik Joshi, Utkarsh Shinde, and others. Vedaat Maratha Veer Daudale Saat revolves around the story of the bravery of seven Maratha warriors of the Maratha Empire to achieve the dream of Swaraj in 1674. This film is currently in the production process and makers are yet to reveal the release date of this movie. Akshay received a scathing backlash for his look as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in this film.
