CLAT 2021 Application Deadline Extended; Here’s How To Apply For Law Entrance Test
CLAT 2021:

The Consortium of National Law Universities has extended the application deadline for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) to April 30. Candidates can apply at the official website – consortiumofnlus.ac.in, before the due date. CLAT 2021 will be held on June 13 in a single shift from 2 pm to 4 pm. Earlier, the exam was scheduled for May 9, but because of the dates clashing with the CBSE board exams the dates for the entrance test were postponed.

CLAT is held for admission to five-year integrated LLB and LLM programmes at 22 National Law Universities (NLUs). NLUs offer admission to various programmes such as–BA LLB, BSc LLB, BBA LLB, BCom LLB, BSW LLB, and LLM programmes. As many as 2,538 seats are available in the LLB programmes and 742 seats in the LLM course at participating National Law Universities.

CLAT 2021: Steps To Apply

Candidates seeking admission in law programmes can follow the steps mentioned below to apply online:

Step 1: Go to the official website of CNLU- consortiumofnlus.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the registration link. Register with mobile number and password. Upon successful registration, candidates will receive login credentials at their registered number.

Step 3: Login with the ID and password.

Step 4: A new page will open. Fill the CLAT 2021 application form with the requisite information such as personal and academic details

Step 5: Now, upload scanned documents in the prescribed format

Step 6: Pay the application fee via credit, debit card or net banking

Step 7: Submit the application form and take a printout for further use

During application submission, candidates will be required to submit an application fee of Rs 4,000 (unreserved category) and Rs 3,500 (reserved category).

CLAT 2021: Eligibility

Candidates who have passed Class 12 examinations or will appear this year are eligible to apply for CLAT 2021. They must have scored a minimum of 45 per cent marks or its equivalent grade in the examination. For SC and ST candidates, a minimum of 40 per cent marks are required.
