The compartment exams for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) Class 12 board exams have been cancelled by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) starting next year. A re-evaluation process of answer scripts in line with the NEP 2020 has also been introduced by the board. The ICSE and ISC re-evaluation of results has been presented in addition to the recheck of answer scripts after the declaration of the results.
Notably, students will be able to appear in the CISCE improvement exams for a maximum of two subjects from the Examination year 2024 onwards.
Candidates are required to pay Rs 1,500 per subject for re-evaluation. It is important to note that the fee paid for the re-evaluation of answer scripts will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates should further note that the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) re-evaluation results will be announced within three weeks on the official website of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations at cisce.org.
The board further mentioned that the re-evaluation of answer scripts will be carried out by a skilled person appointed by the Chief Executive and Secretary of CISCE.
Students will also be able to check the ICSE, ISC datesheet 2024 on the official website of the CISCE board at cisce.org. According to the board exam 2024 schedule, the ICSE Class 10 exams are scheduled to be held from February 21 and the ISC Class 12 exams from February 12.

Step 1: Candidates need to log in to the official portal of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations at www.cisce.org.
Step 2: Click on the link that says, ‘View all notifications’ on the homepage.
Step 3: Post this, and click on the notification related to the ICSE and ISC Date Sheet 2024.
Step 4: Once done, the ICSE, ISC Date Sheet 2024 PDF will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Cross-check all the details and download the timetable for future reference.
In addition to that, the board has advised the students to carry the admit card, and school ID card to the examination centre for verification purposes.
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations announced that it will declare the ICSE Class 10, and ISC Class 12 board results 2024 in May, as per the latest updates.
