The Indian team is in Kolkata for their next World Cup 2023 fixture against South Africa and Kohli received a rousing reception at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport when the men in blue touched down the City of Joy – Kolkata. The fans gathered in large numbers to have a glimpse of their superstar.

Celebrating Kohli’s 35th birthday, the BCCI shared a video on its official Instagram handle and wrote, “All eyes on the Birthday Boy on Kolkata.”

Meanwhile, former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh penned a heartfelt note to wish Kohli his 35th birthday.

“When you joined the team as a youngster who was eager for opportunities and hungry to perform, it was clear to everyone that you were destined for greatness. You’ve not only made a mark for yourself but have also inspired countless others to strive for excellence,” Yuvraj added.
