Pakistan’s historic loss against Afghanistan was followed by a whirlwind of reactions on social media. Many people took to ‘X’ and shared memes mocking Pakistan’s cricket team. A section of dissatisfied Pakistanis also expressed their disappointment over the team’s performance. This comes in as the Babar Azam-led side won the toss and opted to have a bat first and managed to put up a score of 282 for the loss of 7 wickets in 50 overs. Afghanistan, however, successfully chased down the target with an over and 8 wickets to spare to register a famous win.
